Frequently asked questions
-
01
What topics do your etiquette courses cover?
The online course covers dining etiquette end to end — posture, place settings, napkins, ordering, bread, wine, and each course of the meal through to handling the bill.
-
02
Do your courses come with a certificate?
Certificates are issued for private training sessions. For online courses and group trainings, a certificate can be sent on request from $15.
-
03
Do you have a refund policy for the online course?
All sales are final. The course page includes a preview video and the full curriculum, so you can see what’s covered before you buy.
-
04
How many people are typically in a group session?
Up to ten, online or in person. Deliberately small — everyone gets attention, and there’s room for the questions people usually don’t ask.
-
05
Where are your group offline training sessions held?
In the San Francisco Bay Area, California. Venue details are shared when dates are announced.
-
06
How long do your courses typically last?
Two and a half hours across eleven lessons, self-paced — watch it in one sitting or return to individual lessons whenever you need them.
-
07
I’ve never been taught any of this. Is that a problem?
Not at all — and you’re in the majority. Most people picked up pieces of etiquette and improvised the rest, because nobody sits you down and explains it. There’s no class in school for this. I don’t believe in judging anyone for what they don’t know, and the course assumes no prior knowledge.
-
08
Is this only for formal occasions?
No. Formal dinners are where people worry most, but the same principles apply to a weeknight meal with family, lunch with a friend, or a first date. Etiquette isn’t a special occasion — it’s ordinary daily life.

09
What’s the difference between the course, group training, and private sessions?
The online course is self-paced and yours to rewatch — best if you want to learn in your own time. Group training is live and small, so you can ask questions and practise with others. Private sessions are one-to-one, focused entirely on your situation. Many people start with the course and go from there.

10
Do you work with children?
Not currently, though it’s something I’m planning. If you’d like to know when children’s programmes open, get in touch.

How long do I have access to the course?
Six months from purchase. That’s ample time to work through the lessons and revisit them as needed
