Terms and Conditions

1. Payment

No booking or date is confirmed until payment has been received in full.

Payment is by debit or credit card, Apple Pay, or PayPal, handled securely through Stripe. Cash and bank transfers are not accepted.

Access to online courses is available for six months from the date of purchase.

All prices are in US dollars.

2. Refund Policy

All services — online courses, private training, and group training — are final sales and non-refundable. The course page includes a preview video and the full curriculum so you can see exactly what’s covered before purchasing.

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Bookings can be cancelled at any time, though no refund will be issued.

• In-person training requires a venue to be booked and paid for in advance. Rescheduling is subject to availability:
  — More than 30 days before the session: no fee
  — 14 to 30 days before: 50% of the fee
  — Within 14 days: the full fee is retained
• Online training may be rescheduled once, subject to availability:
  — More than 14 days before the session: no fee
  — 7 to 14 days before: 50% of the fee
  — Within 7 days: the full fee is retained
• Online courses are available immediately on purchase and cannot be rescheduled.

Modern Etiquette with Olha may cancel or reschedule a session due to unforeseen circumstances, including illness, venue closure, or government advice. Clients will be informed promptly and refunded in full within seven working days.

Minimum attendance. Group sessions run with a minimum of four participants. If a session doesn’t reach that number, it will be rescheduled or cancelled, and a full refund issued within seven working days. Modern Etiquette with Olha isn’t responsible for any travel or other expenses incurred as a result.

4. Certificates

Certificates of completion are included with private training sessions, online and in person. For online courses and group trainings, a certificate is available on request for $15.

5. Intellectual Property

All presentations and training materials are copyrighted by Modern Etiquette with Olha and may not be copied, shared, or distributed unless agreed in writing.

Clients may state they have trained with Modern Etiquette with Olha, provided the duration, topics, and format are described accurately.

6. Disclaimer of Liability

Modern Etiquette with Olha is not responsible for damages resulting from the use of our services or website.

The information provided is for educational purposes and does not guarantee specific outcomes.

7. Damage

Clients are responsible for the cost of any damage or breakage to venues, property, or equipment during in-person training.

8. Recording

By clients

• Recording or photography during group sessions, online or in person, is strictly prohibited.
• Recording of private sessions, online or in person, is prohibited. Photography during private sessions is permitted.

By Modern Etiquette with Olha

• Group sessions, online and in person, are recorded and photographed, and this material may be used for promotional purposes. Clients who prefer not to appear must notify us before the session begins.
• Private sessions are recorded or photographed only with the client’s written permission.

9. Timekeeping, Scheduling, and Tutors

Sessions begin promptly at the scheduled time. For online sessions, please connect a few minutes beforehand.

• Private training: if a client has not arrived or connected within 15 minutes of the start time, and no prior notice has been given, the session will be treated as complete and no refund issued.
• Group training: late arrivals may join, but sessions will not be delayed or repeated. No refund is issued for a missed session.

10. Privacy Policy

Modern Etiquette with Olha takes privacy seriously. Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how it’s used, and who it may be shared with.

11. User Responsibilities

Clients must provide accurate booking information, including group size, dietary or medical requirements, and any specific learning needs. Inaccurate information may result in cancellation or postponement, with costs retained to cover expenses already incurred.

For online sessions, cameras must remain on. These are small classes rather than webinars, and the format depends on everyone being visible to one another.

Each booking admits one participant. Sessions are limited to ten places, and each place is individual.

Modern Etiquette with Olha reserves the right to remove any participant who does not observe these conditions, without refund.

12. Changes to Terms

By submitting a registration form, clients accept these terms, which constitute a contract.

Modern Etiquette with Olha may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of booking applies to that booking.
